DONE

Your split PDFs are ready.

WHEN THIS HELPS

One page at a time, without rebuilding the document.

Use single-page splitting when the pages need to travel independently, be filed separately, or be passed to different people. SplitPDF copies each selected page into a new PDF instead of turning it into an image.

ADMIN & FINANCE

Invoices and receipts

Separate a batch of scanned or combined paperwork into individual PDF files for filing, review or sending.

FORMS

Applications and signed pages

Make each form page available as its own document when a workflow asks for page-level attachments.

ARCHIVING

Page-by-page records

Turn a long scan into smaller files that can be named, sorted or stored independently.

What the output looks like

A five-page source PDF produces five separate one-page PDFs. Each output keeps the page content and gets a split number in its filename.

report.pdf→report_split1.pdf · page 1
report.pdf→report_split2.pdf · page 2
report.pdf→… one output for each remaining page

Choose the PDF

Drop in a document or select it from your device. The page count appears once the file is read.

Use “Every page”

The single-page mode is selected automatically on this guide. The live preview lets you inspect the source before processing.

Download the set

Save an individual PDF or use Download ZIP to collect all single-page files in one archive.

Good to know: splitting is not compression. It does not intentionally downscale pages; it creates new PDFs from the selected source pages. Very large files may need more browser memory.

SINGLE-PAGE SPLITTING FAQ

Before you split every page.

Does this create one PDF for each page?

Yes. With Every page selected, a document containing 12 pages creates 12 separate one-page PDFs.

Can I download every page at once?

Yes. After processing, use Download ZIP to save the whole set, or download individual PDFs from the results list.

Will the page be converted to an image?

No. SplitPDF copies pages into new PDF documents. It does not intentionally rasterize the content as part of the split.

What if I only need a few pages together?

Use Extract selected pages to define custom groups, or split by page range for consecutive sections.
