CUSTOM PAGE GROUPS

Useful pages do not always sit next to each other.

Custom extraction is for documents where the pages you need are scattered across the source. Put related pages and ranges on the same line to combine them into one output PDF, then start another line for the next file.

SELECTIVE SHARING

Send only what matters

Combine the pages relevant to one recipient without including the rest of the report or application.

RECORDS

Group scattered pages

Gather a cover page, a few relevant clauses and an appendix page into one concise PDF.

MULTIPLE OUTPUTS

Make more than one selection

Define several groups in one pass. Each non-empty line becomes a separate output PDF.

Example: two custom files

Enter each group on its own line. Commas separate page numbers or ranges within the same output; hyphens define continuous ranges.

1,4-6,12→Output 1 · pages 1, 4, 5, 6, 12
2,8-10→Output 2 · pages 2, 8, 9, 10

Check the PDF

Load the source, review the page preview and note the page numbers shown in the tool.

Build each group

Use commas for separate page tokens and hyphens for ranges. Press Enter to add the next output group on a new line.

Review and download

Split, inspect the page counts for each result, then download the individual PDFs or one ZIP archive.

Page order: the tool follows the order you type within each group and removes duplicate page numbers from that group. If you simply need one file per source page, use Split into separate pages; for consecutive sections only, use Page ranges.

CUSTOM EXTRACTION FAQ

Build a group with confidence.

How do I extract specific pages?

Select Custom groups and enter page numbers such as 1,4,7-9. That example produces one output containing pages 1, 4, 7, 8 and 9.

How do I create several output PDFs?

Enter one group per line. Each non-empty line becomes a separate PDF.

Can a custom group include ranges?

Yes. Use a hyphen for a continuous range and commas to mix ranges with individual pages, such as 1,4-6,12.

Does page order matter?

Yes. Pages are copied in the order you enter them within each group, and duplicate page numbers in the same group are removed.
