TERMS OF USE
Simple terms for a simple tool.
Last updated October 8, 2026. These terms describe the basic rules for using SplitPDF.
1. Using SplitPDF
SplitPDF is provided as a browser-based utility for splitting PDF documents. You may use it for lawful personal, educational, business and professional workflows.
2. Your files and responsibility
You remain responsible for the files you select, the rights you have to use them, and the way you use the resulting documents. Keep an original copy of important documents until you have checked the outputs.
3. Availability and limitations
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Browser capabilities, available memory, third-party libraries and document structure can affect whether a PDF processes successfully.
4. No guarantee of suitability
SplitPDF is not a records-management, compliance, archival or document-verification system. Do not rely on it as your only copy of important records.
5. Prohibited use
You must not use SplitPDF to violate applicable law, infringe another party’s rights, distribute malware, or interfere with the operation of the website or its infrastructure.
6. Intellectual property
The SplitPDF website, branding, interface and original code are owned by or used by RuntimeHub, except for third-party libraries and assets governed by their own licenses.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. The current version will be published on this page with its update date.
