PRIVACY
Your PDF stays in the workflow.
Last updated October 8, 2026. SplitPDF is designed around local browser processing for the core PDF operation.
1. PDF processing
The PDF you choose is processed in your browser for the core split operation. SplitPDF does not require a server-side upload queue to create the split PDFs.
2. External resources
The site can load third-party browser libraries from content delivery networks and web fonts. Those requests are separate from the local PDF operation and are governed by the relevant provider’s policies.
3. Analytics and basic technical data
RuntimeHub may use privacy-conscious website analytics or standard technical logs to understand site performance, availability and aggregate usage. Analytics are separate from the PDF-processing workflow.
4. Cookies and storage
SplitPDF does not require an account or login. The tool does not need a server-side profile to split documents. Browser storage may be used by the website or third-party libraries when required for normal operation.
5. Links and third parties
The website may link to RuntimeHub or third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
6. Sensitive files
A local-first workflow can reduce unnecessary file transfer, but it is not a guarantee of secrecy. Your browser, extensions, operating system and other software on your device still matter. Use an appropriate device and workflow for highly sensitive material.
